backspace key deletes charaters and takes page back

Postby loafy28 » Mon Aug 31, 2009 11:58 pm

just trying out chromeplus since it has the IEtab function and I've found that each time I use the backspace key to delete some characters it deletes one and then move the browser back one page.

It was so frustrating I had to use Firefox to register for this forum (I'm a terrible typist)

I am also getting a TON of "runtime errors do you wish to debug" message too. this is really annoying.

any help would be great - thanks

UPDATE - I've only found a few website where the backspace key moves the page back. One for sure is the login page for this forum. I seen it on other pages and will post here what I find. thanks

I'll join you.. I have the same problem, and I have experienced it on http://www.google.com
When I have done a serach and need to edit the search string, if I use the backspace key the browser move back one page!!

But I also Have a bigger problem!
ChromePlus is not working at all for me. I have to enable the IE tab. Then I can use the browser, but as long as I'm using it in ChromePlus mode, there is no page that works!

Had some hopes about this browser, but I didn't use it for many minutes before I went back to Opera!

My problem with backspace was in IE mode, yes..
Because since I'm using Windows7 x64, IE mode is the only way I could use ChromePlus.
ChromePlus mode did not work at all..

Sorry? What is your problem?
1. ChromePlus now can only support Windows but not Linux
2. This problem is resolved from ChromePlus1.2.3.0

when i'm typing in a field, if i need to hit the backspace to delete a typo or change a word; chrome will delete and takes page back.
