I'm not sure if working on a linux version when there is so much to do in windows version is such a good idea... :?:

5. Not support. I am a Linux user. But will NOT use ChromePlus Linux version.

Now, let me explain my choice. The main incentive for using ChromePlus in Windows is the unique combination of features; mainly IE tab and mousegestures, as well as how they work in conjunction. IE tab will be pretty useless on Linux.

For advanced features: Firefox is skillfully integrated into Linux and cover these bases.

I must admit that I have been considering suggesting ChromePlus for Linux, but in the end I would use Chrome (more resources to effectively cover several operating systems) or Firefox instead. Also, my guess is that ChromePlus will benefit more from putting all resources into the environment were it serves the best purpose - Windows (and it pains me to say so - I love Linux). But what do I know? Perhaps you have some brilliant and different approach in mind when it comes to Linux :).

Thanks for bringing it up for discussion though. That you may even consider a Linux version makes me kind of happy :D.

Yea i see no real reason to Convert the <actual> version of ChromePlus to linux, maybe a ChromePlus lite for Linux? without ie tab, without Windows specific features like minimize to tray etc

Im no Linux user, im using Windows 7 x64

just wondering, IE Tab really won't work in linux so you can't get that feature then I suppose.

No IE in linux anyway. But you do get all other features of the windows chromeplus there.
